Well I woke up early and was able to accomplish several projects. Finished a sign for my upcoming Open House on the 30th. Stained to shelving units for my bedroom. I also cleaned up the spare bedroom to prepare for the arrival of my brother-in-law. Everything looks really good!! Sorry I am later than usual with my blog. I thought I would share with you guys my Veggie pasta recipe today... Enjoy!!!!!!
Veggie Pasta
Servings --> 2
Spaghetti Noodles - 1 Handful
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tsp. Salt
2 1/2 C. Water
2 Tsp. Lemon Juice
1 C. Sliced Baby Yellow Tomatoes
1 C. Sliced Baby Red Tomatoes
1 C. Sliced Broccoli Florets
1/4 C. Parmesan Cheese
1 Tsp, Minced Garlic
Bring water to boil in sauce pan. Add Spaghetti noodles to water and cook until soft. When done strain and put aside. In a skillet heat garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and salt then add veggies. Stir in skillet until veggie start to brown. Take off heat and add veggie mix and Parmesan cheese to noodles. Toss and serve.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 10-15 Minutes

Ode to a Jellybean Pancake
Busy day so far and I am staying busy. After spending the morning with my niece and nephew I have decided to share with you a delicious treat for breakfast "Jelly Bean Pancakes". Recipe to follow. I also was successful in transplanting 17 of my 18 plants that beautify my balcony and den. Including planting two flowers in teacup pots for my niece's 4th birthday party in two weeks. It's a tea party theme!!! Planting tip: When planting with light potting soil such as Miracle Grow potting soil I recommend putting rocks or coffee filters in the bottom of the pot to help keep the soil from draining out with the excess water. Well I am off to make pasta for dinner...till tomorrow...enjoy the pancakes!!!
Homemade Jellybean Pancakes
3/4 C. Flour
1 3/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 tsp. White Sugar
1/2 C. & 2 Tbsp. Milk
1/2 Egg
1 Tbsp & 1 1/2 tsp. Butter (Melted)
Handful of Star burst Jellybeans
Insrtuctions:
Mix dry together and make well. To get half an egg put in small bowl mix and then put half in well. Put liquid in well & mix. Fry on lightly coated griddle or skillet. Add Jellybeans after pouring on griddle. Flip when ready, cook and serve with syrup and powdered sugar (both optional).
Prep: 5-10 minutes
Cook: 5-10 minutes
Level: Easy

My First Day / My First Recipe
On this blog I will share my recipes and tips for making everyday life easier. Housewives are busy people whether we look like it or not. We tend to load our plate with volunteering, projects (that are always way bigger than we ever expect) and for some of us taking care of children or going to school. I myself have no children at this point but have two playful cats that keep me entertained every day. My husband is a wonderful man that supports all my many endeavors and is the best friend a girl could have. I love spending time with my Lord and savior for without him I would have nothing! One of my favorite things is experimenting in the kitchen...I tend to have great success with most of my experiments and love to share them with my friends and family. Please let me know what you think should you decide to try one of my recipes. I love hearing success stories and hope my recipes and tips will help make your life easier!! Well I thought I should start this out right by giving you an amazing recipe that will leave you wanting more.

Healthy Pizza
Ingredients for 1 pizza
1 Pizza Crust, 2 Chicken Breasts, 1/3 cup Feta cheese, 1 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese, 1/2 jar Sun Dried Tomatoes, 1/4 jar Roasted Peppers, 1 cup Pesto, 2 hand fulls Fresh Spinach leaves, 1/4 cup chopped Italian Parsley
Prepare pizza crust for toppings (This may require you to roll out a crust depending on what you have). Cook chicken by boiling until done. Cool and chop up. Spread pesto on pizza crust, add chicken ,spinach leaves, parsley, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, mozzarella and feta evenly. Place in oven.
Cook time will depend on crust.
